An opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller based at our Leeds office. This role is for the Highways England RDP framework in Leeds on the £30mill M621 scheme. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will be required to liaise with the different departments within the company to ensure documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all internal services. The role often involves working to deadlines and ensuring that all departments of the company are following the same procedures with regards to documents.
The successful applicant is expected to have excellent organisational skills and to be familiar with effective filing. They must have the ability to monitor and evaluate systems and to look for improvements. Good communication skills are important to be able to co-ordinate with the company's different departments. Additionally, an understanding of the company's business matters is crucial so as to be able to identify and control documents effectively.
What you will be doing day to day

Control and issue of incoming and outgoing documentation using Cabinet and Viewpoint software
Assist the delivery manager with the control of deliverables via nmcn's bespoke Design 2 Delivery Management System
Manage and report drawings and documentation from client proprietary systems such as Delta, and Sharepoint systems
Responsibility of maintaining design project files and archiving
Management of document templates within Cabinet Secondary duties would include responsibility for the following:

Chasing actions status for next meeting
Compiling actions and circulating status for the next meeting
Assisting design manager with general administration duties
General office administrative duties as required from time to time What we a are looking for in a candidate
