Job Description
Orion Group Sciences have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist for our multinational medical devices client based in the Cork area on an initial rolling contract.

- CNS Nurse

Key Duties and Responsibilities.

To manage the clinical deployment of Respiratory Breathing DeviceS in a timely and professional manner by delivering training in line with product guidelines, clinical, and site requirements as required.
This typically takes the form of liaising with the specifiers and all purchasing stakeholders to deliver a workforce trained in the safe use of the Respiratory system within 4-8 weeks from commencement to handover.
Follow on support of sites will include monitoring, managing evaluations & trials as required and mentoring on site as required.
In addition to working as the main contact between the customer and the company, there is a requirement to maintain relevant documentation, reporting in the required period and develop mentoring and development programmes for the site and individuals.
To act as a brand ambassador as required elsewhere in the site.

Qualifications

A current registration or licence to practice in a relevant clinical discipline with experience of respiratory care in an acute setting.
A peer-to-peer training qualification or demonstrable experience and experience of developing relevant training material as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

An understanding of clinical vital signs, early warning scoring, respiratory compromise, respiratory therapy in acute care and respiratory compromise.
Familiarity with i-OS devices, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity
The ability to work with information in database formats if required
Clinical understanding of the interpretation of vital signs
Able to present digital material and new concepts fluently and competently, both face to face and virtually
Ability to manage a project to agreed milestones
Experience of using standalone and integrated medical devices and software

Other Requirements

Business and Clinical English to minimum level four for written and spoken communication
Eligibility to work in the specified country
Able to travel independently to customer sites at all times
Able to work as required across a 24-hour, 365-dayshiftpattern to meet the needs of the customer.
Be conversant with and able to comply with relevant clinical data, infection control and general policies that may be mandated by customers as well as those of the company.
