Repairs Maintenance Call Handler or Work Planner - Social Housing/Maintenance (Temporary Ongoing Basis)

One of our social housing clients are looking for a Repairs Call Handler or a Repairs Work Planner to join their team based in Enfield until Jan 2021 then North West London onwards- on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is working with a small team within the repairs and maintenance team in the social housing sector and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service to Tenants at all times. You will ideally have a knowledge of the sector, including a knowledge of trades such as plumbing, plastering, carpentry and electrical works.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth running of operatives diaries to attend repairs/maintenance works based on priority work load. This will be on our clients in house database. • Ensuring tenants are kept up to date on works being carried out and informed of appointments accurately. • Administration and data entry. • Call handling. • Utilising all aspects of Outlook and maintaining records on our clients in house data base- Excel may also be included. • Running reports on open jobs, closed jobs and follow up jobs for operatives. You will be trained on the clients internal system but will ideally have an understanding of repairs/maintenance CRM systems.

Please note this role will be dealing with direct Maintenance Operatives, Tenants and Sub-Contractors. You will ideally have worked within a similar planning/scheduling or call handling role in social housing repairs and maintenance role. You will ideally be fully computer literate and be able to work within set time frames against set deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to work your way up the ranks within a well-established company!

This role is temporary ongoing role offering up to 40 hours per week 8am-5pm (Hours are non-negotiable) Our client would ideally like someone in place ASAP. This role will be working in an office and part from home and interviews will take place in the office with social distancing measures in place due to Covid-19.

Please note that you must be able be accessible via Public Transport to Enfield and North West London due to an office move taking place early January 2021.

Pay Rate between £9.77 GBP per hour PAYE -Holiday Pay can be added on top or accrued at 12.07%. Please note that this is a temporary ongoing role- May go permanent after 3 months based on satisfactory performance.
