Job Description
Inbound Call Advisor - Customer Service

One of my largest and most prestigious clients are looking for Claims Advisors to join their growing team based in Preston. This role will initial start as a contract opportunity.


Key requirements/activities:

- To handle inbound and outbound customer claims and to deliver an experience that exceeds the customer's expectations, whilst fixing customers issues quickly and easily

- To be a key player in a dynamic claims handling team and deliver great service to our customers while achieving specified, service, quality, and other targets

- To deliver a service that matches or exceeds the standards required by the appropriate regulator and by my client, thereby ensuring that we treat every customer fairly and deliver consistently good customer outcomes.

What to expect;

- Process all claims in line with stipulated processes, policy limits and regulatory requirements. Capture and process all relevant customer & claims data utilising company systems

- Use effective information gathering and provide accurate advice and service which will deliver consistently good customer outcomes

- Ensure an understanding of the requirements my clients T&C scheme are met ensuring that you remain competent

- Take accountability for keeping product, systems, regulatory and business processes knowledge up to date and use it in a consistent manner to perform your role effectively

- Achieve the expected individual customer experience, advice and service as defined by the business, taking ownership where required to consistently provide good customer outcomes

- Deal with customers in a clear, polite and concise manner

- Meet or exceed the standards required by my client and appropriate Regulator and ensure Conduct Risk is minimised

- Inspire customers to recommend my client to their friends and family

- Ensure Productivity meets the levels expected by the business without compromising the regulatory and Customer experience needs

- Maintain a formal development plan and ensure Continuing Professional Development is undertaken and recorded

What is needed to do the Job?

Essential- Able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focussed environment.

Essential- A good standard of written and spoken English

Regulatory Knowledge
N/A - Full training will be provided

Business Knowhow
Essential- Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning and good communication skills.
