Job Description

A Queens based Real Estate Management firm is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant, in our College Point Office. The candidate MUST have 5+ years solid experience in Residential Property Management. The candidate will effectively manage all administrative communication and organizational tasks while providing high level client service.



Job Requirements:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Property Management:

  • Maintaining current knowledge of buildings property
  • Prepare and distribute memos, notices, and other correspondence to residents
  • Communicate with residents
  • Prepare Board Agendas
  • Receive, process and oversee all apartment alteration requests
  • Handle maintenance calls
  • Handle Work Orders
  • Filing
  • Reconcile, maintain and update building amenities (parking, storage, etc.)
  • Coordinate all property inspections
  • Assist with contractor selection process

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE 5+ year's solid experience in Residential Property Management.
  • Customer Service oriented, able to handle heavy phone volume
  • Good work ethic
  • MUST HAVE PROFICIENT computer skills (windows 7 or higher), Property Management (BJM or Yardi), Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Create various management reports, spreadsheets and memos
  • Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills with great attention to detail and follow-up
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Ability to prioritize and process work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Able to take direction and multi task
  • Work independently and as a Team Player
