Umbrella Payroll Manager
£30K-£40K Depending on experience
We're looking to recruit and ambitious Umbrella Payroll Manager to join a dynamic and friendly team in Hampshire
Our client provides specialist accountancy and umbrella services to contractors, freelancers and SMEs, and their aim is to become the most respected in this field in the UK. With scope to grow and learn across the group, this role would suit someone who wants to learn about new areas of accounting and finance and nurture their career in accounting and finance.
This role can be based either in our Winchester or Ringwood office, and offering flexible/home working is also part of our forward-thinking ethos.
About the role
Your role as Umbrella Payroll Manager (reporting to the board) will include:
* Liaise with agency partners in on-boarding new umbrella employees and agreeing contract terms
* Management of junior employees
* Advise and implement on new payroll processes
* KPI reporting for the board
* Processing payroll (monthly and weekly) for our Umbrella employees Deal with employee/HMRC payroll queries
* Auto enrolment pension compliance/submissions
* End of year payroll returns
* Maintenance of PAYE controls
* Focusing on great service and meeting the day to day demands of the umbrella employees and agency partners
Skills and Experience
* Payroll experience (umbrella experience would be beneficial but not essential as long as you're willing to learn)
* Confident and organised
* Able to work as part of a team and a strong decision maker
* Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
