Job Description

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the sale of ABMs Business & Industry services in a specified region. In this role, the mission is to continue to develop the existing sales culture, grow, and manage an existing profitable office. This Sales Manager candidate will need to have the ability to see the big picture on how sales and operations work together to create a winning sales/service culture. The Regional Sales Manager will provide ongoing support, guidance, and direction to the local sales team in the development, implementation, and achievement of sales targets.


In collaboration with senior executives and local sales team, develop, establish, and execute sales plans/targets for short and long term objectives for an established region.
Hire, train, set goals and monitor performance of sales representatives and 8 direct reports in Texas and Minnesota.
Inform direct reports on competitive services, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing, and marketing policies.
Analyze account profitability and determine necessary sales techniques, advertising and market penetration with sales representatives.
Develop, present and sell value proposition; Gather and format data and submit responses to RFPs.
Define and implement regional sales plans, author presentations, reports and price quotations and support contract negotiations.
Manage significant opportunity pipeline to guarantee success and regional growth
Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by having a strong understanding of regional market trends.
Provide support and guidance to local sales leaders related to lead generation, sales conversion, and sales processes/programs to further develop professional selling skills
Present and participate in client meetings, presentations and events.
Understand regional competitive activities and overall market place and inform senior executives and local sales team of these activities.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree; Business, Marketing, Sales, or related discipline preferred.
A passion for serving and helping others to succeed with an ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team.
Demonstrated success in selling services or other intangible business offerings to end-users, preferably in the commercial real estate or facilities services space.
5-10 year history of successfully managing & leading a sales team - preferably within the state of Texas.
The ability to communicate, counsel, and sell at all levels of the client's organization.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level presentation and client relationship building skills up to C-Level.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals through a dispersed sales team.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM program, Salesforce preferred, with an aptitude to quickly learn relevant program and technologies.
