HYG Is seeking an Business Development Specialist. This position will be responsible for achieving meaningful customer engagement with targeted Major Accounts early in the sales cycle. The full Business Development cycle will require the deployment of all available sales and marketing tools and processes to make direct contact with identified leads/accounts, develop Sales- Ready Opportunities, and ensure sales coverage of those Opportunities in accordance with the strategies defined in their respective Account Development Plans. This position will be required to achieve quantified metrics concerning completed calls and conversations and maintain a quota of new Sales-Ready Opportunities to assign to Major Account Managers and dealers.

The successful Business Development Specialist I will have the following Key Accountabilities:
  • Execution of a disciplined process for lead management and customer engagement.
  • Execute defined sales programs and campaigns.
The successful Business Development Specialist I will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
  • Entry level position with Bachelor's degree
  • Work experience in customer relationship management, sales or marketing. In lieu of Bachelor's degree - 2 year degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience. No degree - 4 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Product Suite).
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive prioritization and action of business reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for business relationship building.
The successful Business Development Specialist II will have the following Key Accountabilities:
  • Execution of a disciplined process for lead management and customer engagement.
  • Execute defined sales programs and campaigns.
  • Analysis and execution of targeted Major Accounts.
The successful Business Development Specialist II will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years' work experience in customer relationship management, sales or marketing. In lieu of Bachelor's degree - 2 year degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience. No degree - 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Product Suite).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and/or sales engagement platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive prioritization and action of business reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for business relationship building.
The successful Business Development Specialist III will have the following Key Accountabilities:
  • Execution of a disciplined process for lead management and customer engagement.
  • Execute defined sales programs and campaigns.
  • Analysis and execution of targeted Major Accounts.
  • Define best practices and coach Business Development Specialists in lower level positions.
The successful Business Development Specialist III will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years' work experience in customer relationship management, sales or marketing. In lieu of Bachelor's degree - 2 year degree with 5 years of relevant experience. No degree - 7 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Product Suite).
  • Competency in Salesforce.com and/or sales engagement platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive prioritization and action of business reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for business relationship building.
