The Senior Director of Digital Media will oversee all digital effortsflawlessly overseeing the management, execution, and optimization of all Paid Search, Display, and Social campaigns from conception through to the analytics and optimizations.

This individual will strongly influence the Agencies digital strategy and footprint and will be the voice of all digital media. This role is expected to craft, refine, and evangelize Imaginuitys approach to digital media. All online media channels will report into the Senior Director of Digital Media and this individual will be responsible for ensuring the day to day operations across all disciplines are being executed and managed as expected.

This role will work with the individual digital team leads to grow and evolve their knowledge, specifically as it relates to training and growth and will drive the evolution of the Agencies knowledge of all online media, ensuring the collective success of Imaginuity and their Clients. Collaboration with each channel lead (Paid Search, Display, Social), along with the Associate Media Director, will ensure that the Agency is: executing strategy as expected and refining as needed, maintaining efficient optimizations, delivering thoughtful and innovative POVs on industry trends and exclusive category innovations, and implementing on-going tests across each channel to ensure performance is being maximized.

Client communication is also a key aspect of this role. This individual will need to communicate with various levels of Clients effectively and seamlessly, regardless of their sophistication with Paid Media, and translate the Agencies campaign strategy, objectives, and goals into a language that each Client can understand and passionately endorse.

Working closely with the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and Executive Media Director, this individual will be expected to successfully grow and evolve the digital media team. Through leveraging AdScience and other internal resources, this individual will ensure the teams deliver on excellence and emerge within the Industry as leaders of innovation, analytics, operations, and strategic thinking.

  • Ability to Communicate and Articulate the Agencies online approach across Paid Search, Display, and Social to Clients and the internal teams.
  • Lead and Manage the digital media teams (Paid Search, Display, and Social), ensuring that best practices are met and that the teams achieve 100% accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain QA across all online teams and deliverables.
  • Leverage AdScience® insights to strengthen, and ultimately drive better optimizations across Client campaigns; ensure the adoption of AdScience across all online teams.
  • Develop and evolve each Clients online strategy and work with various channel leads to ensure execution and maximum lead growth.
  • Partner with the digital team leads to ensure Clients are educated on the foundational role that the online channels (Paid Search, Display, and Social) play within their strategy; ensure that both the Agency and Client are grounded and aligned on expectations of deliverables.
  • Oversee the build and maintenance of a strategic framework for all Clients, with the expectation of establishing a clear execution roadmap and the opportunity to continue to test and innovate against; allows the Client to see the performance initiative and growth as the team innovates.
  • Collaborate and work cross-departmentally to initiate and build processes that strengthen the implementation, delivery, and optimizations; to include a re-build of the Client onboarding process.
  • Build Trust and maintain strong Client Relationships; instill confidence in Agency leadership that best in class plans are executed as it relates to strategy, technology, and optimizations.
  • Prove to be an expert across Clients brands, their industry, and their organizational structure to ensure the Agencies offerings align with Client objectives and organizational goals.
  • Work strategically across channels, inclusive of display, PPC, SEO, accounting, and creative to execute campaign briefs, internal processes, and Client objectives.
  • Instrumental in leading the digital strategy in New Business development/pitches.
  • When possible, takes advantage of Industry conferences and learning opportunities to promote ongoing digital, industry, and category continuing education.
  • Maintains and builds strong relationships with media vendors; continue to actively engage with new media vendors and mine for new opportunities that align with Client or Agency initiatives.
  • Focus on cultivating and strengthening the Agencies partnership with Drawbridge and Google in an effort to leverage these vendors in a way that drives Client innovation and maximum performance enhancements.
  • Maintain Google Certification and enforce Certifications are up to date with each team member, where applicable.
  • Manages internal conflict and acts as an escalation point internally for Client issues and/or internal challenges.
  • Monitor industry changes and build that innovation into Clients optimizations; work with the Executive Media Director and Account teams to showcase these learnings externally to Clients as needed.
  • Develop and lead a high performing team through coaching, feedback, and other career guidance.
  • Work with the Executive Media Director on annual reviews; set and maintain direct reports personal objectives and goals quarterly.
  • Actively work with and engage direct reports through coaching, feedback and learning opportunities with two objectives in mind: (1) the achievement of hitting their personal goals and objectives, and (2) organic growth into their next career step (ie: promotion).
  • Play an active role with the Executive Media Director in the interviewing process for open positions across all online channels; making recommendations around hiring, promotion, discipline, and related personnel actions.
  • Proactively author blogs, whitepapers, and POVs as relevant industry, category, and Client topics present themselves.
  • Exemplifies the Agencies core values and is an example to the Media Department and other Agency departments; acts as a representation of Imaginuity.
  • Works with the Associate Media Director to maintain all budgets; approve and sign digital Insertion Orders.
  • Works with Executive Media Director to monitor account revenue and drive incremental account growth.
