Job Description

Marketing Director Job Description

Oversee all Marketing efforts while managing the individual brands and their unique identities.

Responsible for creation and implementation of all marketing strategies including budgeting, marketing communications, and public relations activities both external and internal to enhance the various venues as well as the overall portfolio's image and position in the marketplace.

Achieves financial objectives by discussing annual budget with Director of Operations, analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

- Responsible for brand management of all public facing collateral to include; publications, digital, on and off premise etc.

- Directs the efforts of the marketing department with all venue managers.

- Manages the marketing department team: Marketing Manager and Graphics Designer and well as support teams.

- Oversee development and implementation of promotional materials and programming.

- Oversee design assets by managing in house graphic efforts maintaining individual brand voices.

- Maintain a calendar of in-house events and deliverables in a timely fashion.

- Design brand relevant events to expose the portfolio to new customers while engaging current.

- Data Management for all venues.

- Social Media: Create and direct relevant social media to generate engagement with the portfolio to include paid campaigns.

- Manage all PPC, SEO and other digital campaigns.

- Responsible for direction, design, production and budgeting of internally produced events.

- Coordinate media interest and ensure regular contact with targeted local media. Manage appropriate responses to requests and coordination of media opportunities i.e.: TV appearance with Chef or Mixologist. Managing Public Relations firms where applicable.

- Partnership programs: Create genuine long term partnerships with various local and national brands to generate events and/ or sponsorships. Example: Modern Luxury.

- External Events: Determine which off site events the portfolio would benefit from participating in and execute accordingly.

Private Events:

- Create and execute strategic marketing plans for the group as well as the individual venues with trackable ROI and materials associated with those programs.
