Job Description
Purchasing Clerk FULL-TIME

$23/hr

This dynamic position will track and report on physical and digital purchasing records as well as keep accurate record of current and prospective supplier performance. Strong organizational and data entry skills will be required in this fast-paced food manufacturing location. Assist the sourcing and purchasing team in multifaceted job duties. Essential functions include: - Obtain quotes and specific requirements from potential vendors and customers for organization needs - Coordinate company purchases with other departments for supply related inventory - Develop successful process to remove costs and consolidate supplier requirements - Excellent cross-team support and deliver outstanding service to management team - Follow strict purchasing policies and procedures, as well as expedite orders and track deliveries to ensure company satisfaction. Must possess strong communication skills and ability to communicate through face to face meetings, staff meetings, email and phone - Manage and Order Office / Service / Chemical / Sanitation & Janitorial supplies - Active in verifying physical stock (Location kept at 36 degrees) - Flag deadstock as well as overstock for Purchasing Team - Create daily purchasing requisitions and reports, as well as send documents and orders for approval SEA-04 WS-04 WS-LC


Schedule

Shift start: 8:00AM
Shift length: 8.5 hours
Monday - Friday, with some overtime
