Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a Care Charity in Stockport who are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Helpdesk Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide and develop a team as well as be a part of an integral charity community making a difference.

Key Objectives:

Payroll Supervisor to provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
Strong technical payroll knowledge - deal with escalations and answer teams questions
Supervising and supporting a customer service team of 4
Report to Payroll manager
Excellent Service delivery
Knowledge to provide information on starters and leavers, Pension Contributions and BACS Salary Payments, HMRCDesirable skills and attributes:

Previous payroll experience in a fast paced and high volume environment
Need to have evidence of Strong technical payroll knowledge to provide advice
Enjoy working within a team
Strong basic maths skills
Confident on the phone
Excellent communicator as you will be answering queriesBenefits

5 hours per week, Monday to Friday flexibly
25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days pro rata.
