Job Description

Our client, in the Southern New Hampshire area, whose products are used in a variety of applications to fasten and adhere products all over the world is seeking an Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and repair injection mold machines on 3rd shift. These products are used for applications ranging from agricultural to industrial cleaning to transportation. In this role you will be counted on to troubleshoot and repair injection mold machines, work with a team to do roll and die change overs, mechanical line preparation, and preventative maintenance all while ensuring that departmental, procedureal and environmental compliance is being met.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting and repair of plastic extrusion or injection mold machines
  • Must have mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Certificate in a technical field or four years of equivalent experience and skills in metalworking, plumbing, and comprehension in complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to read/interpret written instruction, clearly communicate and write in English; will be required to complete basic paperwork and perform data entry
  • Good dexterity and hand eye coordination
  • Ability to maneuver rolls and dies up to 50 pounds with mechanical assistance and support from teammates
  • Will be cross trained in other areas including becoming certified within 30 days - Will become trained and well versed in TS2 and Environmental Management Systems
  • Complete Lock/Out Tag/Out and HAZCOM training
  • Individual must be flexible and have ability to become efficient on their own
  • Self- paced learning including book, web-based and classroom participation
  • Desired: Mechanical ability, problem solving intuition
  • Ability to read a ruler ideal and learn how to use other measuring devices as well as hand equipment (cutting tools, etc.)
  • Basic Math skills
