We'd like to welcome aTotal Rewards Manager to lead our Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation area. Join our dynamic Human Resources (HR) Team of 9 people, and be the "go-to" contributor in planning, analysis, implementation, and administration of our Total Reward Programs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS& RESPONSIBILITIES
With the support of one HR Payroll& Benefits Specialist, you will oversee and be responsible for planning and maintaining accurate data in the payroll/platform, employee benefits, and compensation areas, as well as leveraging these systems to increase operational efficiencies and communication, not only of the HR department but also throughout the Credit Union.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Human Resources and Development (HR&D), this position may need to occasionally act as leader of the department in the absence of the Senior Vice President. This is a full-time, exempt-level position, which may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week and/or work on Saturdays (especially around payroll processing dates).

The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for the following 4 areas:
ADP Workforce Now
•Establish objectives, goals, and priorities in conjunction with the SVP/ HR&D for increasing the organization's use of the ADP Workforce Now platform solutions to support strategic initiatives.
•Optimize the use of technology and develop tools and communication campaigns to automate transactional HR activity throughout the credit union.
•Develop, direct, and lead ongoing HR data, metrics and reporting strategy to support decision making.
•Promote proactive approaches to using the ADP Workforce Now platform to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and usage of the platform's capabilities across departments and functions.
•Research, develop and communicate all related policies and procedures that comply with federal/state laws as it relates to ADP Workforce Now. Provide assistance in developing/ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures.
•Create and manage high level reports that support various compliance and legal requirements such as the 5500, 990, Affirmative Action Plan, ACA, etc.
•Work with various audit teams to provide information and insure above satisfactory audits.

Payroll
•Ensure payroll is processed and delivered consistently in an accurate, timely and compliant manner for over 250 employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws for all hourly and salaried employees.
•Provide Accounting with timely and accurate general ledger entries. Reconcile appropriate accounts each payroll or as necessary.
•Process statutory reporting and compliance filing(s) to ensure accuracy, compliance and timeliness. This includes garnishments, payroll taxes, and W2's and ACA filings.
•Assist with the payroll related administration of our 401(k) and other plans such as life Insurance, STD, LTD, HSA, and FSA.
•Ensure the Credit Union's pay practices comply with all laws and regulations.

Employee Benefits& Defined Benefit Pension Plan
•Administer and develop communication campaigns for all benefits programs (retirement plans, wellness programs, insurance policies, etc.)
•Research, analyze and recommend Total Rewards/benefits plans, programs, policies and enhancements that are appropriate for the Credit Union.
•Collaborate with the SVP/HR&D and benefits broker to develop open enrollment criteria. Assist with recommendations based on data analysis.
•Monitor government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends and insure compliance in all areas i.e, ACA.
•Manage the open enrollment, renewal, and communication processes.
•Ensure all billing is verified for accuracy before payment is approved.

Compensation and Analysis
•Assess the organization's pay structure.
•Research compensation trends and respond/reviewing compensation surveys.
•Evaluate and communicate our compensation policies and annual review through training.
•Complete and recommend salaries by assisting as necessary with job analysis and description review, determining position classifications.

EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES
•Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year College or university.
•Four (4) to six (6) years related experience and/or training in the Payroll, Benefits and Compensation with a demonstrated level of increasing responsibility and complexity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Two (2) to four (4) years Leadership and/or Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to engage, lead, inspire, motivate and provide feedback to subordinates on a consistent basis.
•Mastery level knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compensation in a company with at least 250 employees. Excellent knowledge of the critical functions of payroll, benefits, and compensation including knowledge of State and Federal laws, to perform all essential responsibilities.
•Expert level knowledge in ADP Workforce Now required. Including ability to research and recommend operational efficiencies and implement any optimization opportunities.
•Proficient computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
•Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Understand the confidentiality required in a Human Resource environment.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills for employee communications as well as being comfortable researching, recommending and writing board reports, procedures, guidelines, policies and other documents/correspondence accurately.
•Thinks independently and ability to be responsive with solutions. Understand and delivers high quality work in established timelines. Rarely escalates matters to next level.
