Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through communication and follow up
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (Compensation, HR, Systems and Programs teams, etc.)
  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates at all levels and develop sophisticated closing strategies that seek for matching fit and motivation rather than focusing on selling alone
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet hiring goals across all departments within the business
  • Challenges the status quo, proposes new and innovative ideas on how to find top talent
  • Identify recruiting trends and process improvements within the recruiting process
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
  • Facilitate hiring related trainings for Associates and Hiring Managers
  • Set benchmarks, metrics and understand how to prioritize.
  • Successfully thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done
Job Requirements

  • Experience managing a high volume of requisitions (20-25 at a time) is preferred
  • Ability to meet tight timelines and balance a heavy workload
  • Strong professional presence and ability to be viewed as a subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating with individuals at all levels written and verbally
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills are required
  • Prior retail sales or staffing agency experience is a plus
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be an effective talent consultant
  • Demonstrates innovative and out-of-the box approaches
  • Experience with facilitating trainings and conducting presentations
  • Looks to technological solutions and advances as a means to provide process improvements and advances in sourcing talent
  • Desire to understand and integrate the JM Family culture into talent decisions
  • Willing to travel and attend job fairs
  • Experience with Behavioral or STAR/Targeted interviewing processes a ?plus
  • Experience with iCims or other Applicant Tracking Systems required
