SUMMARY:

Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform field walk-downs of systems and processes to collect or validate baseline equipment specification data
  • Scrub and load equipment information and engineering specifications into database to achieve standardize records
  • Work with equipment manufacturers and vendors to develop unique parts lists
  • Review maintenance data, engineering drawings, technical manuals and other documentation to give reliability findings and recommendations
  • Drafts failure mode and effect analysis sheets on systems and equipment
  • Develop predictive and preventive maintenance program and procedures to minimize potential failures, based on failure mode and effect analysis
  • Schedule predictive and preventive maintenance program using parameters such as operating environment, duration of procedure, resource availability, asset availability, and overall cost
  • Design and develop database query reports for additional reliability analysis
  • Develop and build additional auxiliary table files that may be required by the functionality of a selected maintenance system
  • Perform all necessary quality control functions that are required to ensure that complete, accurate and logically related data is provided to the customer
  • Record start and ending time every day, for each project or contract supported via the prescribed time reporting system. Review and approve team time submissions
  • Understands wallet share and how to pursue add-on/new opportunities. Identifies common risks and leverages existing solutions to mitigate.
  • Manages the portfolio of products and services for the client globally
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Typically, 20+ years of relevant experience on commissioning projects in a lead role with at least 10 years of project experience in an L3 capacity.
  • Previous experience leading commission process deliverables such as change management, systemization, acceptance testing, and turnover.
  • Experience on large size capital, maintenance, and upgrade project (greenfield project, additional train(s), compressor/pump station, etc) with complex and non-routine workflows. Typically "greenfield" with non routine complex workflows requiring SIMOPS
  • Typically, 12+ years of experience as team lead and/or supervising resources.
  • Orchestrates systemization and resource allocation for assigned project deliverables.

  • 2 Years Eng PM
  • B.S or M.S in engineering or related discipline
  • Domain experience (industry specialization in power, oil and gas, nuclear, pharmaceuticals, chemical, information technology a plus)
  • Experience in Sales pursuit through Project Delivery
  • Understands portfolio and manages (products, services, vendors, third parties, EPC) within
  • (construction, safety, DCS Controls, SIS, Turbo Machinery, OTS, Business Process Change)
  • Strong Schedule management skills (bordering on specialization)
  • Powerful test integration skills
  • Knowledge within the following areas;
    • Control circuits and systems
    • Electrical construction and application
    • Commissioning and startup
    • Calibration and preventative maintenance
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
    • Ability to solve practical problems, deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and interpret a variety of concepts of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
    • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and skills
Education:
  • Minimum four-year college degree

  • Professional engineers' exam
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional Certification
