Product Manager - Basingstoke
£45,000 - £55,000 + perm benefits

A leading cash management provider is currently recruiting for a Product Manager who will be responsible for the full range of solutions owning the planning and management across the full product life cycle. The will include gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements through to delivering winning products. The product manager will have prior knowledge of cash consultancy/management, data and software solutions etc.

Requirements
*Knowledge of electro-mechanical products and/or integrated software solutions
*Experience of interfacing with Government customers internationally
*Strong report writing, project management and time management skills
*Business planning, strategy, reorganisations and project management skills
*Understanding and experience of launching products, including development of content, aligning sales objectives to marketing plans and delivery through appropriate channels
*Ability to deliver and communicate the value proposition of the products and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the products
*Proven experience in product management in a complex product environment
*Ability to work closely with colleagues across the organisation to prepare for making our sales teams and customers successful

Responsibilities
*Own and define the product roadmap
*Manage the life cycle of designated products
*Work with the sales channels to identify key sales opportunities that will deliver annual sales volumes
*Understand the market requirements from first-hand experience of customers on a global basis
*Manage the product introduction and product withdrawal process on both a global and local perspective.
*Create and justify enhancements where necessary from a features and function perspective
*Take responsibility for competitive product mapping
*Support the tender process
*Develop product sales training materials
*Be the "Product" expert for the sales channels
*Provide accurate and timely information to the sales channel on product developments
*Take responsibility for the development of the value proposition including pricing strategy
*Collaborate with the Marketing & Product Director to ensure products are taken to market in the most effective manner
*Work with 3rd party suppliers to extend the product offering
